Find gorgeous, royalty-free photos and start kicking your website and social media up a notch
istockphotos and Getty Images used to be the only players on the digital photography block. They merged not too long ago and now monopolize the pay for photo market. Gorgeous as the photos are, I find it hard to swallow the prices they are asking for these days. For images that I would use in a website banner, I’d want the photo to be at least 2000 px wide. I would be looking at $36 USD for one photo.
Now, don’t get me wrong. Photos are an integral part of your marketing. Good photos exude professionalism, trustworthiness and be the tool you need to really convey your messaging. Though with so many great (free) options out there, I can usually find what I want without paying a dime.
